The Scream Parody.png

Title: The Scream

Meaning/Significance

The meaning of this painting is to represent the universal anxiety of modern humanity. The significance of this painting is to symbolize the darkly troubled times Munch was experiencing as he dealt with mental illness and trauma, and his attempt to rationalize and explain his experience through what he knew best; painting.

Explanation

For this painting I used the movie "Chicken Little" as a parody because the painting reminded me of how chicken little started panicking about the sky falling. So I thought I would do chicken little screaming and his friends running after him while being chased by the aliens that are looking for their child, Kirby.

Description

To create this I first found all the pictures on google and saved them to the computer. then I placed them in photoshop and selected and masked them. Then I made them different sizes to make them look like they are far away. Then I used the healing brush tool to get rid of the people in the painting. Finally, I used brushes and smudge tool to create the effect of the beams of light.
