What is a "shape" in art?
Shape is a two dimensional area that may be open or closed, free-form, or geometric.
Define organic and geometric shapes
Organic: characterized by an irregular or asymmetrical form, usually associate with the natural world.
Geometric: characterized by or decorated by regular lines and shapes.
What shapes did you use?
The shapes I used were triangles, ovals, circles, and pentagons.
What else would you like your viewers to know?
I would like my viewers to know that finding the right shapes and sizes were hard.

Discuss your process.
First I started by with the head and neck and then I added the hair and eyes. Then I added the mask. After I added the shoulders and backpack straps. Then I added a bit of details to the jacket. Finally I added the shadows around the neck.
What did you learn?
I learned that it is difficult adding small details.
What would you like your audience to notice?
I would like my audience to know that I worked really hard on the eyes to make them look realistic.
What could you improve upon?
I could improved on adding more details and shadows.

What did you learn about shapes?
I learned that shapes are used everywhere and some are stronger than others.
Describe your process.
I started with the body and then the head, arms, and wings. Then I did the tail, and after I started adding the patterns and the mask in the face. Then I added the eyes and mouth. Finally I added the shadows.
What did you learn?
I learned that it is very difficult to add shadows.
What would you do differently next time?
I would organized the layers differently to get a better view of the shadows.
What would you like your audience to notice?
I would like my audience to notice that the shadows were hard to show.
